El Fuera de Juego y la Luna. Offside and the Moon.

Y tú, ¿todavía crees que puedes ver el Fuera de Juego? (Fuera de lugar, Abseits, Fuorigioco, hors-jeu, impedimento, orsay). ¿Todavía crees que el ojo humano puede buscar a tantos jugadores en el momento exacto del pase del balón? No te dejes engañar, simplemente tu ojo no puede realizar esa función. Ya sé que es muy duro que ahora, en el siglo XXI, te enteres de algo para lo que no estás capacitado. Y sólo porque siempre lo has visto, o crees que lo has visto. Sólo porque a alguien en 1866 se le ocurrió poner esta regla en el fútbol. Nunca a nadie se le ocurrió que el fuera de juego no se podía ver ni juzgar. Hasta diciembre de 2004, fecha en la que publiqué mi artículo en el British Medical Journal. Y, ¿para qué ha servido? Sólo para bromear y tomar a guasa un artículo científico publicado en una de las cuatro revistas médicas más prestigiosas del mundo.

Desde su casa todo el mundo ve la Luna, pero nadie ve Paris (salvo los habitantes de Paris). Sin embargo, la Luna está más lejos de tu casa que París.
