Otro de los aspectos escandalosos en el fútbol es la colocación de la barrera cuando el árbitro pita una falta directa o indirecta cerca del área rival. Estamos en el siglo XXI y este aspecto del fútbol hoy en día yo diría que es de auténtico cachondeo.

Me explicaré bien.

No hay nada más bonito en el fútbol que un gol logrado en una falta directa o indirecta. La filosofía del fútbol y el juego limpio dentro del fútbol deben de favorecer este tipo de goles.

En una falta, el jugador más próximo del equipo contrario debe de estar a una distancia de 9,15 metros. Pues bien, resulta que hay personas en este mundo que están capacitadas fisiológicamente para saber y medir que desde un punto a otro hay exactamente 9,15 metros sin utilizar ningún medio de medida, sin utilizar el instrumento de medida llamado “metro”. Esas personas son los árbitros de fútbol.

Y ahora les ruego que no me vengan con las mismas tonterías de siempre, con la palabrería barata que sólo sirve para convencer a los necios. Que sí se puede medir con los pasos de una persona, que si las rayas del campo pueden ayudar, etc, etc… Absurdas banalidades más propias de tramposos que de personas serias.

A nadie se le ocurre ir a una carnicería y pedir un kilo de filetes de ternera y que el carnicero corte la carne, la pese con la mano y le diga al cliente: aquí tiene el kilo. ¿Usted compraría esa carne, sin que el carnicero la haya pesado? Como este ejemplo se podrían poner cien mil más. Sólo los Conservadores del fútbol son tan “………” que pueden defender públicamente que un árbitro de fútbol está capacitado para saber dónde están exactamente los 9,15 metros.

Esta regla sólo favorece a los equipos mediocres. Los mejores equipos son los que tienen a los jugadores que más habilidad tienen para tirar una falta. Pues bien, los jugadores contrarios normalmente adelantan su posición y cuando la falta se lanza, la barrera puede estar a 7 u 8 metros, nunca a 9,15 m. Y eso, cuando el árbitro haya tenido la habilidad de colocarla a 9,15 metros.

Parece que el fútbol lo diseñó una o varias personas que pretendían que el árbitro fuera el “personaje malo” dentro de un terreno de juego. Muchas de las reglas del fútbol perjudican con gran evidencia a la figura del árbitro. Lo malo de este sistema es que los árbitros acatan todo.

Pero, bueno, es mejor acatar toda la parafernalia del fútbol con humor. Cada día, todas las personas del mundo utilizamos un sistema de medida para algo en concreto, aunque sólo sea un vaso para medir la cantidad de agua. Yo desde aquí propondría dejar de utilizar los complejos sistemas de medida. Si un árbitro puede medir 9,15 metros dando pasos, si continúa andando y camina unos millones de pasos más, podría medir la distancia exacta desde París a Roma.

Esto del fútbol, a veces puede ser de risa, por no utilizar otro calificativo. Obligan a los árbitros a “ver un fuera de juego”, a medir 9,15 metros sin utilizar un metro, y nadie se escandaliza. ¿Qué pensarán de nosotros en el siglo XXII cuando todas estas tonterías hayan desaparecido?

Como dicen los de siempre. Y, entonces, ¿de qué hablaríamos?

¿Quieren la respuesta? De fútbol, no de los beneficios que obtienen los tramposos dentro de un terreno de juego. Siempre que hay un córner en el fútbol, la sombra del penalty es muy alargada. En más del 50% de los córners de un partido los defensores cometen un penalty. Cuando se repiten las imágenes por televisión desde distintos ángulos podemos detectar que casi siempre hay un defensa que comete penalty a un delantero. Es pura estadística. Sin embargo, los árbitros no señalan ni 1 penalty por cada 100 córners lanzados. Es pura estadística.

¿Por qué los árbitros no señalan casi nunca un penalty cuando se lanza un córner?

Una respuesta con humor podría ser que los árbitros no saben ni han estudiado estadística.

Pero yo creo que las razones pueden ser muy diversas: 1. Que realmente no los ven (¿); 2. Que no se atreven a pitar 4,5, 6 penaltys por partido… y probablemente algunas más.

Habrá muchos aficionados, futbolistas, periodistas, árbitros y dirigentes del fútbol mundial que estén en contra de esta afirmación. Es muy fácil hablar o escribir en un medio de comunicación (aquellos que disponen de ese privilegio) y argumentar criterios empíricos para oponerse a lo que yo afirmo en este artículo. Sin embargo, es algo muy fácil de estudiar científicamente y comprobar el resultado.

Pero, bueno, ¡qué más da! A nadie le interesa descubrir todos los aspectos ridículos y tramposos de este maravilloso deporte. Porque, como muchos dicen, entonces ¿de qué hablaríamos?

Un Fuera de juego o un penalty no señalados, dan mucho dinero (durante 7 días) a los medios de comunicación. ¿Hay algo más ridículo en un partido de fútbol que las sustituciones de jugadores?

Me explicaré bien, que luego vienen los que te ponen verde, con toda clase de insultos pueriles, sin leerse el artículo.

El fútbol como lo conocemos hoy en día existe desde hace aproximadamente 140 años. La primera vez en la historia que se permiten sustituciones de jugadores durante un partido de fútbol fue en el campeonato del Mundo de México en 1970: 2 cambios de jugadores por partido. En el Campeonato del Mundo de México de 1986 se cambió la regla y desde entonces se permiten 3 cambios de jugadores.

Normalmente una plantilla de un equipo de fútbol profesional está compuesta por 25 jugadores. En un partido como máximo juegan 14. Y durante un campeonato juegan con asiduidad un máximo de 16 o 18 jugadores.

¿Cuáles son las consecuencias de esta regla ridícula?

1. Enfado y mal ambiente en la mayoría de plantillas de equipos de fútbol provocada por los jugadores que no juegan. 2. Despilfarro del dinero de los socios y abonados de los clubs. Dinero invertido en jugadores que no juegan. En los equipos de fútbol más importantes puede suponer varias decenas de millones de Euros. 3. Pérdida de jugadores jóvenes muy buenos, que ante la falta de oportunidades de jugar por estar cubiertos sus puestos por jugadores de prestigio y calidad (y en muchas ocasiones, ni tan siquiera esto es verdad), ven pasar los años sentados en la grada viendo como juegan los partidos oficiales sus compañeros. 4. Pérdida de grandes ídolos futbolísticos que se ven obligados a abandonar prematuramente el fútbol para no arrastrarse en un terreno de juego y perder así el prestigio del que gozaban. 5. Pérdida del espectáculo de un partido de fútbol. Resulta totalmente inaudito que nadie, nunca, haya criticado este aspecto. Los aficionados pagamos una entrada para ver un espectáculo futbolístico, aunque también queremos que gane nuestro equipo. Pero resulta evidente que es mejor en muchas ocasiones darle un descanso de cinco, diez o quince minutos a un jugador para que después vuelva al terreno de juego y juegue mucho mejor. Es ridículo y deprimente ver a un jugador de fútbol, durante el campeonato mundial de fútbol, quedarse sin aliento después de una carrera de 30, 40 o 50 metros, durante la segunda parte de los partidos de fútbol y a temperaturas cercanas a los 35º o 40º grados centígrados en el terreno de juego. Por no hablar de las consecuencias fisiológicas para esos jugadores y las posibilidades de recuperación para los siguientes partidos, que como médico también podría reflejar, pero ese puede ser el motivo de otro artículo.

A los Puristas o Conservadores del fútbol yo les preguntaría, ¿es eso fútbol? O es asistir a un espectáculo en el circo romano de la época de los emperadores. ¿Es eso espectáculo? O es recrearse en la denigración del cuerpo humano sometido al máximo ejercicio. ¿Es eso lo que queremos los aficionados cuando vamos a ver un partido de fútbol?

Pues la respuesta va a ser que sí, a tenor de lo que viene sucediendo desde hace más de 140 años. Yo soy un romántico del fútbol como espectáculo total pero va ser que no, que no sé si veré alguna vez ese espectáculo porque no formo parte de la FIFA ni tan siquiera de los poderes fácticos que existen dentro del entramado del fútbol: Los periodistas, las antiguas estrellas del fútbol y los entrenadores de élite.

Y, si esto, que es una obviedad y una absoluta tontería dentro de las reglas del fútbol sigue así desde el siglo XIX, ya del Fuera de Juego ni hablamos, porque los insultos de los Conservadores y Puristas no tardarían en aparecer en cualquier medio de comunicación del mundo.

Vamos a ver, por qué dos sustituciones a partir de 1970 y tres a partir de 1986. Quién parió esa idea, esa norma, ese cambio de norma a partir de 1986, y todo el mundo como “corderitos” (por no utilizar otra palabra mal sonante) admitimos como dogma de fe. No sé si recordarán ustedes, los que tienen más años, que al principio hubo ataques frontales contra esta norma. Los Puristas y Conservadores del fútbol (siempre los mismos) se opusieron con toda su fuerza y declararon la guerra a esta norma (hoy en día es ridículo ¿verdad? Pero sus nombres están ahí, en las hemerotecas). Incluso, al principio, los entrenadores no hacían los cambios permitidos, o hacían sólo uno. Incluso, los entrenadores eran criticados por los periodistas cuando realizaban los cambios permitidos por la norma. Esto último es realmente escandaloso pero lo mejor del periodismo es que sus artículos o su palabra en radio o televisión queda reflejada en las hemerotecas. Y si alguien no me cree que acuda a ellas: ya verá cuánto disfruta y cuánto se ríe.

No sé que pensarán ustedes. Pero volvamos a realizar la pregunta. ¿Por qué no cuatro, cinco o seis sustituciones durante un partido de fútbol? No se escandalicen, por favor. Que no soy el diablo ni un analfabeto en el fútbol. ¿Por qué no? Me imagino que habría doscientos millones de críticas y cientos de miles de millones de comentarios. Pero, ¿Qué pensarían de nosotros dentro de 30 o 40 años? Lo verían completamente normal y a nosotros unos estúpidos por no haber implantado antes esa regla.

¿Y por qué no sustituciones libres, igual que en el baloncesto o el balonmano u otros deportes? ¿Por qué no? ¿Qué razones van a esgrimir o alegar los de siempre? Esos Puristas o Conservadores que con sus opiniones y comentarios hacen que este maravilloso deporte y espectáculo sea a veces deleznable y en las más de las ocasiones aburrido y con falta de emoción. Aunque conociendo la historia de la humanidad, los que están arriba piensan, opinan y deciden y los demás obedecen como estúpidos, como si sólo existiera esa opción y ninguna más. Pues no, eso no es verdad, el mundo tal como es hoy en día lo han creado los inconformistas, aunque siempre hayan sido repudiados al principio, cuando crearon sus ideas. Criticados siempre.

Si durante un partido de fútbol los cambios fueran libres, entrando y saliendo los jugadores al terreno de juego cada vez que el entrenador lo creyera conveniente para los intereses de su equipo, aumentaría el espectáculo y se evitarían todas las consecuencias antes mencionadas.

Soy partidario de las sustituciones libres, igual que en el baloncesto, durante un partido de fútbol. No me gusta ver a un jugador que ha hecho el máximo rendimiento físico durante un partido y que su fatiga física le impide dar el rendimiento necesario a su equipo. Ese jugador de fútbol puede descansar cinco o diez minutos y volver de nuevo al terreno de juego para aportar a su equipo todo lo que pueda dar de sí.

Zidane podría seguir jugando al menos 4 años más. Quince minutos de Zidane sobre el terreno de juego vale y se paga más que un partido entero de muchos de los jugadores de primera división. Si las sustituciones fueran libres, muchas de estas figuras del fútbol no se retirarían prematuramente.

El fútbol evolucionará sin lugar a dudas. Antes o después habrá sustituciones libres, sólo es cuestión de tiempo. Los Conservadores y Puristas ya estarán escandalizados, pero ¿qué dirán dentro 15, 25 o 50 años, cuando esta regla se haya modificado y las sustituciones sean libres? Con el tiempo lo verán con total normalidad y los demás habremos perdido unos años maravillosos de fútbol y de espectáculo.

El ojo humano no está capacitado fisiológicamente para detectar un Fuera de Juego. En el futuro, durante un partido de fútbol las sustituciones serán libres, ¿cómo será el fútbol en el futuro?

The Purists or Conservatives of football I would ask to them, is that football? Or it is to attend a show in the Roman circus of the time of the emperors. Is that show? Although knowing history the humanity, those that are above think, think and decide and the others obey like stupid, as if it only existed that option and no more. Then not, that is not truth, the world as he is nowadays have created it the nonconformists, although always have been discredited at the outset, when they created his ideas.

If during a football match the changes were free, entering and leaving the players to the field of play whenever the trainer believed it advisable for the interests of his team, it would increase the show and all the consequences before mentioned would be avoided.

I am in favour of free substitutions, just as in the basketball, during a football match. I do not like to see a player who has made the maximum physical yield during a match and that his physical fatigue prevents to give the necessary yield him to his team. That football player can rest five or ten minutes and return again to the field of play to contribute to his team everything what can give of himself.

Zidane could continue playing 4 years more at least. Fifteen minutes of Zidane on the field of play it is worth and it is paid more than a whole match of many of the players of first division. If the substitutions were free, many of these figures of football would not retire prematurely.

Football will evolve without doubt. Sooner or later there will be free substitutions, is time only question. The Conservatives and Purists already will be scandalized. But, what will say within 15, 25 or 50 years, when this rule has been modified and the substitutions are free? With time they will see it with total normality and the others there will be lost wonderful years of football and show.

The human eye is not enabled physiologically to detect an Offside. In the future, during a football match the substitutions will be free, how will be football in the future?

No puedo negar que soy un gran aficionado al fútbol. Y por esa misma razón soy muy crítico con este deporte, porque el fútbol está lleno de “cosas” absurdas y ridículas. En enero de 2004, José Pekerman era Director Deportivo del C.D. Leganés, un equipo de la Segunda División del Fútbol español. Tras la marcha de Carlos Aimar como entrenador del Leganés, se propuso que el Sr. Pekerman ocupara el puesto de entrenador. Sin embargo, el Comité Nacional de Entrenadores de España no dio su visto bueno al no tener acreditados 3 años como entrenador de Primera División en Argentina. José Pekerman sólo había entrenado un año a Argentinos Juniors. Pero, Pekerman ya había ganado tres veces el Campeonato del Mundo sub-20 con la Selección de Argentina (Quatar-95, Malasia-97 y Argentina-2001), además de dos Campeonatos Sudamericanos y un Mundialito. Sin embargo, pocos meses después, Pekerman fue nombrado Seleccionador de Argentina y hoy su equipo ha ganado 6-0 a Serbia en el Campeonato del Mundo de fútbol de Alemania. No les parecen absurdas y ridículas algunas reglas o normas del fútbol actual. Pekerman no cumple determinados requisitos para entrenar a un equipo de la Segunda División española y sí para dirigir a la Selección de Argentina. Hoy Argentina ha demostrado que es la principal favorita para alzarse con el título de Campeón del Mundo de Alemania 2006. Una Selección que “juega en equipo”, dirigida por el cerebro magistral de José Pekerman. Enhorabuena Argentina. Enhorabuena Pekerman: Tú no estás en Fuera de lugar, muchos otros sí. El fútbol es el deporte que menos ha evolucionado desde que se inventó.
